Merry Gift giving!
It’s just about that time!
There’s always the last minute shopping, wrapping and decorating, but we’re pretty much ready! Time for a delicious glass of eggnog (or your favorite beverage).
Cheers!

In answer to your question, Rick: Hell, no.
Do I detect a Grinch in FLA?
No Grinch, Rick, just a lazy old fart.
We cut way back this year, but we do have a small tree decorated, and a few wrapped gifts for each other.
Almost. Vertigo has sidelined me since Tuesday but I’m just about back to normal, whatever that is.
Sorry to hear that, Bob. Also, thanks for the cool card.
We don’t celebrate Christmas, so…n/a – not applicable.
But Have a Merry One, everyone.
When I say Christmas, it should be understood I mean “the holiday of your choice”. I suppose you are celebrating Hanukkah.
Not really. Just hanging out. No gifts or celebration here. That was for when we were kids.
Some of us are still kids at heart. Thanks for the ecard.
We are hosting TWO parties: a get-together for my sister from Florida who is in town and an actual Christmas Party on Christmas Day for the family. Usually, my brother and his wife host the Christmas Party, but they just moved into a new house last week and are overwhelmed. Diane volunteered to host the Christmas Party this year to reduce their stress (but increase ours!). Since most of our gifts are gift cards or cash, we’re all set. Katie and Patrick are busy backing desserts and I’m just trying to stay out of everyone’s way.
You’re such a party animal!
Have a wonderful day. Waiting for Megan to arrive tomorrow. Lots of good news with the early reviews of DARE ME. So perhaps that will help us get through our first Christmas without Phil. He loved Christmas so much.
I’m sure it’s hard for you, Patti, but you seem to be doing well.
We don’t do much for Christmas but watch movies and have fun… but yes we are prepared to have a good time and good food. This morning we went to Costco to get a pumpkin pie and a few other things that racked up $400, and it was a madhouse. But everyone there was smiling and courteous, amazingly. And I am officially retired now.
CONGRATULATIONS ! ! ! You’re going to love retirement, I’m sure.
I hope you have the very merriest of Christmases.
Merry Christmas!! I still have decorations that need to be put up!
But, aren’t you celebrating Hanukkah?
