Having a bad day – the old devil migraine.
Sorry to hear it — all sympathies.
Oh, bummer. Feel better.
As the president would say, Sad! Hope you feel better soon.
Been there. Done that. I feel your pain.
Richard, I hope you feel better soon.
Oh, my mother suffered from those for many years. She finally cured herself with doses of Vitamin E. Hope you feel better soon.
Thanks, everyone. One of the problems I’m having that exacerbating things is that my eyes are getting worse and I’ll need to have cataract surgery soon. My reading, especially of mass market paperbacks with smaller print, is much reduced.
I feel that pain too. If a book – even a hardback – has too small, too light print, it can absolutely affect my decision as to whether or not to read it, especially if it is over 400 pages. Whereas, if I open a book and see a nice clear, dark font, I will give it more of a chance. In general, I’ve said for years that I prefer trade paperbacks to mass market, and I prefer them to hardbacks for slightly different reasons (including the weight). That is also where ebooks can help, as you can adjust print size.
Hope you feel better soon
I recently had cataract surgery and I can assure you it’s a piece of cake. The recovery is pretty easy, too. I go in tomorrow to get a new Rx for my right eyeglass lens, and that’ll be the end of everything.
Thanks a lot for that Bob, it reduces my trepidation. I’ll be consulting with the eye surgeon in three weeks, then schedule the “procedure”.
When I got my bill all of my appointments were called “encounters.”
Oh my. Tha seems more than a little odd.
