Fall is just around the corner, and on our property, and on the adjacent ones, there are many trees, and excepting the conifers, many, many leaves. For years we’ve been sweeping them into little piles, then using an oversize plastic dust pan to pick them up and put them into a yard debris bin.
It’s the sweeping part that’s a pain in the neck, so we just bought this baby:
OREGON CORDLESS 40 Volt MAX BL300 Handheld Blower
with 4.0 Ah Battery Pack and C600 Charger
Electric, cordless, powerful, quiet. Now we’ll be able to corral those pesky leaves into manageable piles and get ’em into the leaf bags with ease!
Nice.
Fall sure doesn’t feel like it’s around the corner in The Big Easy.
Jeff is so right! Hot, hot, hot!
That climate isn’t for me! I prefer cooler, and even when it’s hot here in Portland it’s not nearly as humid. I couldn’t live in the south or east with those awful summers.
I have one of those but found it was faster to rake the leafs. Now I get my older girl to do it, which is easier yet.
We may find that to be the case too, Bob, but this seems like a good idea for some of the larger areas that get covered with leaves.
