Tracy, don’t let out the secret, but it’s not as rainy here in Portland as most people think. It’s wet in Winter, and Spring, but sunny and warm in Summer and breezy but beautiful in Fall. I’m looking out at the brilliant red of a Rhododendron and our emerald-green lawn, with Iris along the border. The cat, he’s a Bengal (our other two are rescues) and he is full of personality.
I read when it rains, too, but Expresso, being a cat isn’t able to. As for cat allergies, when Barbara’s quilt friends come over, one of them takes an allergy pill and all is good..
What a lovely kitty. I think I would like living in a city where it rained that much.

I do love sleeping in the rain
There’s probably a song in that, Charles. Of course this post was really just an excuse to put up a picture of the cat.
