1,045 Posts

blog_iconBetween the posts on Broken Bullhorn, my previous blog, and this one, this makes the 1,045th post. Since Broken Bullhorn and Tip the Wink are essentially the same blog with just a different name, that total represents all the posts since I started blogging in August 2009.

I meant to say something when I got to 1000, but that slipped past while I was busy. So yay me and all that. Lots of posts, lots of images, lots of time. I hope those of you out there who tune in here have enjoyed what you’ve found.

Congratulations on the milestone, and I’m looking forward to thousands more posts.

  2. Richard says:

Thanks, Bill, I plan to keep on going.

  3. Jeff Meyerson says:

Wow . It seems like only 990. No, really, that is a real milestone.

  4. Richard says:

Ha! You have probably commented on every one of them, Jeff. Of course, the milestone would be 1,000 but that slipped by. I suppose our pal Bill Crider has about a million.

  5. Jeff Meyerson says:

I was going to say that Bill probably does 1,000 every couple of months, if not more often.

Not that there is any competition, of course.

  6. Richard says:

No, I hope not. I plug away at my own pace, usually three posts a week but sometimes only two. Bill puts up many per day, George puts up one every day, as do Evan Lewis and many other bloggers. Good for them! I cold probably break my current reading posts into several smaller ones, but really, I don’t see any point to that. I often do wish I got more comments, but my blog isn’t widely read.

  7. Jerry House says:

Yea to you, Richard! Your blog is always interesting and I’m looking forward to your 10,045th post.

  8. Congratulations, Richard! Thanks for introducing me to various authors and their books. Good luck to you and your very readable blog.

  9. Congratulations! It’s not the number of comments, it’s the QUALITY.

  10. Richard says:

Yes George, I suppose you’re right. It’s certainly true for your blog.

  11. Rick, I appreciate the high quality of the comments on my blog, especially yours. They are thoughtful and informed. And, I love it when you say “Bah!”

  12. Todd Mason says:

And belated congratulations! I managed to blow by the 1000th and recently the 1100th post on mine without taking note, as well…it’s the process, as well as the result, which makes it worthwhile, eh? More music posts! More a/v posts, when you wanna. The only nits I’ll pick.

  13. I have a Tumblr system that I’m using for blogging.
I want to know if you’d be interested to create an article for
me? I could pay you possibly. Let me know?. PS. Awesome blog
